 Dense cover in wet areas in March/April (very tiny flowers)

Interesting Name - the plant does look a bit vulgar and the barbs are very stiff and sharp.  But the flower is beautiful.  Lots of people trying to kill this plant too.  But it was here before us and will be here where we are gone.  April 2014
